As liverpool fan's, it's only fair we despise own and relinquish our claim to him as our legend for what he has done and said in the past, but to not acknowledge his shooting prowess and getting the ballon d'or whilst playing for us is beyond apathetic.
In his prime he was a great hope for England... but beyond that... fuck you owen :)

Zé Roberto retired playing for Palmeiras here in Brazil last year, in his 42 yo... Far better than the majority of players in our local league.

Come on, how about Madrid?! I know nothing other than Raul. You don't have Legends. You buy another team's Legends.

SergioSR4 9 years ago

Real Madrid, Spain 2 719

Casillas, ramos , Marcelo, Ronaldo, zidane etc. Don't talk about buying legends when you have bought Suarez dembele coutinho mina neymar rakitic etc for ridiculous amounts in the past

blau10grana 9 years ago

Barcelona, Slovakia 0 105

Casillas, ramos , Marcelo...
they are really treated as RM legends by RM fans, Casillas could write a book about that, even Raul leaving RM desered more respect than he received

in my eyes RM's legends are more recognized and respected by other club fans
so please next time be quiet, Liverpool is big club and they have legends and history...next time you will say that Totti is not a legend too because he played for AS only and won single scudetto

SergioSR4 9 years ago

Real Madrid, Spain 2 719

dont take minority of idiotic fans for the majority of RM fans who highly respect casillas etc.

Also totti at least he WON a league title while Gerrard carragher kuyt NEVER won a title for Pool so dont deserve the legend status. thats the difference

not true, tittles don't make legends...acting on the pitch and dedication to a club make legends, tittles are icing on the cake

What is a 'tittle' may I ask?

No surprise he was named MOM, welcome home Xabi. Really glad the game finished as a draw. Ze Roberto, Agger, Stevie G, Carra, Luis Garcia, Demichelis are still very competitive. Was a very good game to watch. Hopefully liverpool beats City and we can meet bayern in the CL semis.
