Madrid problem is Ronaldo asking for pay raise but they don’t want to do because of his age, so they want someone like Neymar who can be their poster boy for years to come. I think Neymar have zero chance of moving to Madrid and he should focus on Brasil than the transfer saga..

whit Coutinho money it was affordable to get Van Dijk for that price. And Liverpool needed stability in the defense more than more creativity up front where Salah, Mané and Firminho are very good.

i understand there is the issue of balancing the team having stability but not taking sane to the world cup is not comprehensible

brazil in term of potential is only matched maybe by france but they have no real leader in france team

barbahaba - Not taking Sane to the World Cup does make sense if you've actually watched him play with the national team; terrible. Whenever he's played, he's held the ball for too long and lost possession. He just doesn't fit their style of play (for the time being). Also, if I'm not mistaken, when he had the chance to play for the Confederations Cup last time, he preferred to have a nose surgery (plastic surgery) instead. If he had played back then, he probably would have had the experience and enough time to fit into the team just in time for this World Cup. Kid's blown his own chances there.

Brasil main problem is their defense especially on right side(Danilo). If that side explored properly brasil will leak goals easily. They weren’t tested of going behind and doing a comeback whereas Germany gone behind and did comeback in competitive games.
