Luis enrique implemented this "perfect" strategy to let the opponents move deep into your half. Then what happened is just chelsie-like they passed the ball as quickly as possible to MSN and used the midfield only as a bridge. Midfield has become an auxiliary unit.

In my opinion EV is doing the same with the 442. The 2 central midfielders are so far from each other and therefore cannot create the triangle-passes. That is why Messi and Coutinho often move intro central positions. Messi is more a trequartista this season.

Basically is the barcelona way of playing and interpreting the game being destroyed by EV and the barca board

this only happens when real men fight for a single goal, bravo for manolas, de rossi, dzeko, kolarov, strootman, and all roma team who really deserved this. Chelsea pussy players should learn from this, Men win champions league, not cortois, not hazard, not fabregas, BUT MEN REAL MEN, congratulations roma, you fucking deserved it

DZEKO is the underrated yet produces against big teams. ROMANS were on fire . Valverde should be blamed , not using Dembele and not resting players, dumb rotation . Even in liga, individual brilliance has saved Barca. He had to bring Gomez instead of Dembz,Denis, PAU. Even Messi was salty, Sometimes, I think he lacks the hunger and persona El DIEGO had to be a winner.

I still remember when I said Ronaldo's hardwork is paying off better than Messi talent, people criticize me (Portugal vs Egypt friendly). It had been years that Messi and co is showing laziness during big games in CL. MEssi, no doubt is a talented player than Ronaldo, just don't seem to want it as much as Ronaldo. I know it hurt Messi fans, but Ronaldo will win the Ballon d Or for the 6th time this year

Ballon d Or this year is pretty much dependent on the World Cup.

The greatest players give their best performances in moments of pressure. All the others don't.

That's all I'm going to say right here, and who's able to understand, shall understand.

Barca simply gave it up like a pro. Anyway currently they werent even among top 3 clubs in europe. So it happened at this stage. This stage was their most deserving stage. A team that depends on one player, ofcourse will go down when that one player has a bad day or even on an average day. they did a f***ng awesome job to get until here.
The difference between barca and other contenders (RM, Liverpool and Bayern) is, they have a team. Barca has one player.

you dont get some stuff, big players wont make great team. your team is a good example. Ozil, Auba, Miki, Lacazette, Wilshair, Bellerin, Mustafi, Cech.. how you assess your club?

lol that was unexpected. I think Valverde is a shitty manager. The only reason Barca still has a solid season is because the quality of the last few years is still around. Im talking about the way they play, it hasnt really been touched. The managers come to Barca and mostly just go with the flow. As soon as there are decisions to make they choke as we just saw with Valverde. Its because they dont know how to adjust the way Barca plays. When everyone is fit and all is well they just let the maschine do its work. When things are not well they dont know what to change because they dont fully understand what it is that makes Barca play the way they play.

And also because Madrid dropped too much points, when they shouldn't be, at the beginning of the season.

This was absolutely fantastic. It's been a tough year for Italian football but Roma did us proud last night. They were just brilliant from the first whistle to the last. The outplayed, outfought and outcoached Barca. It was amazing, Barca didnt know what hit them. Roma were unlucky in the first leg, they didnt deserve to lose by that much. They were absolutely sublime yesterday. Incredible scenes.

poor defending by Barca. 1st goal - poor communication between Alba and Umtiti. 2nd goal - stupid mistake by Pique, 3rd goal - poor marking by Semedo

I prefer saying that it was Dzeko's clever move for the second goal. If Pique did not foul him, he would score for sure. And Semedo made the same mistake minutes earlier, if Ter Stegen did not come with the save, it would be 4-0 for Roma.
