By definition if they're playing for the Netherlands they're Dutch. If you try a little bit, it's not too complicated a concept to grasp.

If they grown up in those countries then they have the right to represent the country they grew up in. It doesn't make them French or Dutch by ethnicity though.

None of them are african, they're european, they're just black or mixed race, that and being african are two different things, e.g. white south africans do not say they're european, they're white africans, and the same goes here. I don't know if you're actually unaware of this so I won't make a big deal out of it, but there are many people on ft who comment that the french team is mainly composed of "african" players and it's getting annoying. Is this gonna happen every time a european national team has black players? come on.
