Morons keep calling Guerrero a drug addict when he's been cleared of that.
The question coming in was whether he could get in game shape by game 1. I didn't want the match, so I'm still not sure, but it's obviously good to see he scored twice. We are probably too dependent on him, but so long as he's there, we're a good to very good team. My guess is France and Peru advance, but Denmark has a good chance too. Gareca has instilled some discipline and structure. Defensively, while I still say we're weak, the numbers suggest otherwise, so I'm satisfied for now.
We have speed in the back and in midfield but not up front. Our goalie is solid. Now, can we play on the big stage after a 36-year absence? We'll see.

I typically don't respond to many comments about Guerrero but they're getting silly. Doesn't take much critical thinking to know he didn't do cocaine. He didn't do much in the match, but to think he scored twice is exactly what we need out of him: goals.

I think we actually have a good mixture of speed with Carrillo and Farfan (one of them will be subs) but we're much more of a build up team then a counter attack so perhaps lack of speed may be good.

Hopefully the fact we've been playing with the same squad for a number of months will play in our advantage when the going gets tough. We shall see.

So, did fifa allowed GUerrero to play the world cup? If he is not a cheat , then it's a good news for the fans ,and if he's the drug cheat then it's really sad.

Nobody has ever accused him of being a druggie. He ingested something he shouldn't have. That's far from a drug addict. Players are responsible for what they ingest even if it's in tea or cold medication, which is asking quite a lot, but those are the rules. Now, good luck to Italy....oh wait.
