Nah Ronaldo 100% has the talent obviously. But his workrate has excelled him to another level. A lot of players have talent but don't play consistently for their career. CR7 has pushed himself to make the most of his talent and also his ambition to want more.

Of course Ronaldo has talent and Messi works hard. However, I would say Ronaldo just push himself to the limit, breaking record after record, helping clubs and country win titles. And of course his goal scoring form at such age is magnificent. I am not against Messi. I like Messi. I see some of the things he had done, no one else can do, not even CR7. That's purely talent. He is born that way. That's why many ppl say Messi is from another planet. That's where my point are.

I can't believe he's adapted to playing a CF role now so well, all footballers need to think like that. Adapt when you can't do what you used to. He used to be an insane winger, now he's an insane CF, this is just insane at 33.

I mean he's been a CF for 4-5 years now, but yeah its still impressive.

@T1lt3d: He’s only really been CF for two years. His total numbers considering he’s played as a left midfielder/winger for the vast majority of his career is completely insane. Won’t happen again.

He's transitioned smoothly that's the thing. He's played on the LW but drifted to the middle through the way RM play, so he was practically a hybrid, most his dangers never come from dribbling from the LW. Over the past few years he's adapted to the CF position properly. Now he can easily be classified as a straight up CF. Benzema playing false 9 can allow CR on the LW switch into CF when Benz creates space for him.

It's always good to learn from older and more experienced people.

Anybody know if they will be wearing that UEFA champion's patch at the WC?
