If its true that Napoli throw away European competition and TIM cup just to win scudetto then it will bite them back. they have only 1 point ahead of Juve and still match in turyn

The problem of Napoli team is that Bench players level is below the basic players level and the management does not pay more in the transfers .... So , The logic result they will lose every competition they played

They aren't bad bench players, they don't get much playtime and it's hard to keep form through season. Players like Tonelli and Ounas were good in their past clubs but now get lack of playtime, Zielinski and Diawara still show quality when played and Rog plays good when he gets minutes, which is rare. Sarri really doesn't like rotating and that is surely a problem inside the squad, and it might bite him back later in the season.

A bit too late isn't it? Or just to answer to the criticism they received the last week, for their home defeat, as well as giving up of both UCL and EL on the account of winning the Scudetto, so now, they wanted to show who's who in the duel. In other words, just to prove that Napoli truly didn't care at all about this year's European competition, least of all the EL, which neither brings money, nor glory!
Nice job anyways! Hope RB Lepizeig will do well in the future, whoever turns out to be their next opponent!

I disagree, the competition is made by those who participate in it. A tournament with teams like Napoli, Leipzig, Dortmund, Arsenal, Atletico, Milan does carry some amount of prestige. Remember the EL of two years ago with Liverpool and Sevilla? You think people didn't care about that. The no glory argument is weak -- they chose their priorities and they lost but they should be criticized all the same.

neurop You didn't quite understand what I was trying to say man! The point is that Napoli aren't interested in it, because they don't wanna waste strength and energy in this competition, but to save themselves (completely) for the Scudetto, which they're waiting for almost 30 years!
Yes, they're currently playing the best football (by far in Italy, but on the account on many other managers and football experts, along with Barca & Man-City, in Europe as well), but they're not so strong, to fight with the same amount of power both in Europe, and in Serie A, where they have to face teams like Juve, Roma, Inter and Milan, ahead!
That's why they sacrificed their UCL participation, let alone Europa! On the other hand, teams like Milan, rsenal, Lazio will do their best to win it!
