Two equal teams, and a draw tonight could have been fair, in my opinion. But Shakhtar made a mistake with an offside trap and Roma used it. Good game! Congrats to Roma fans! Sorry for the Ukrainian team, they played well, but were simply not good enough to go through.
Well, the 1st leg should've been (at least) a draw either (when Roma could/should've scored at least 2 or 3 more goals), but instead, they played bad 30+ minutes in Ukraine, and conceded two and lost! Now, the same thing happened here, only Roma kept a clean sheet!
And in this case, I can't say that they deserved it more because of the group of death they played in the group stage, because Shakhtar also played in the 2nd group of death (although, everyone underestimated them, but both Napoli and Man-City, two top of the line teams, felt it on their skin when they both lost). Thus, this was truly an equal duel (unlike the other one, where Sevilla outplayed Man-U twice) & unfortunately, one had to go down (again, unlike Man-U, who were only lucky to be here ion the first place)!

Congratulations to AS Roma and all their supporters (I know there aren't many here, but in the real world, there's a whole army), 'cause they surely deserved it! They were excellent in the 1st leg and should've scored more, just as in this one, but for some reason, this year they can't score many goals (unlike all previous seasons, when they were scoring 100+ a season), and it could bite them back. As it almost did this time too (as the 1st leg). Their inability to score more than 1 or 2, could cost them matches - it was pathetic to watch them defend like that in the last 5 minutes, with a man plus!
But because of their marvelous performance in the group (of death), they deserved this win and going in the 1/4 finals!
Honestly, I wish them all the best
