No one going to point out Bristol did us a favour, we did tried to win. But Carling Cup is a two legged semi final. Still got EPL, UCL and FA cup fixture congestion. Thanks Bristol!

Ummm not really... A) You are not going to win premier league buddy... B) You are not going to win champions league buddy... Your only hopes of silverware this year were league and FA cup and league is already gone....

not hating or trolling but with man utd squad and their prices tag + their wages, its embarrassing to lose to mid table team at championship side, and respect Bristol player passion, in football sometimes price tag mean nothing.

by the way Man utd just avoid meet Man city in Semis, good news ?

I agree with you, but calling Bristol City a mid table team when they're third is a bit far :p

EDIT: What the hell... This was not the comment I replied to...

The first goal should be counted, it's the goalkeeper error.

Huge credit to Bristol City. They held their own pretty well vs. a very strong MU line up (and many of them rested like Zlatan). They were a bit lucky to not fall behind in the first half with two shots on posts but they took their few chances exceptionally well. As a neutral, this is what makes English Cup matches so much more exciting than Copa del Rey ones. On two legs, Bristol would not have a shot. On one game at home, with a bit of luck, a crowd carrying them on full tilt, anything can happen, and sometimes does. I hope the Spanish FF is taking notes.

It warms my heart to see small teams like Bristol City get such nights of glory. It really highlights what this sport is all about. Good job Bristol, and tough luck United.

It wouldn't be too bold to say that his is the game that definitely got them out of the title race

You mean out of the league cup title? Cause that what they were playing in, otherwise, they wouldn't have played Bristol.

You are right, I actually have no idea why I referred to the league. I was sleeping when writing it.

Pelle maybe got this team confused with Brighton who are a Premier League team.

Real Madrid got beaten by both R. Betis and Girona (in La Liga: take note) and their players price tags against those teams were far much higher. it's Football so stop moaning about price tags. Congratulate Bristol on their remarkable victory instead of been a prick

@Matrixc10 You can't just dimiss that loss because Bristol played well! This is Man Utd, reputed for being one of the best clubs in the world, the wealthiest club in the world loosing to a team in the championship! WTH! Man Utd need to sort their team out and mourinho is not going to help! You should be embarrassed!

Huge respect to Bristol, well deserved, nice football, they won fair and square. We didn't deserve anything today, the first half was a joke... no creativeness. 2nd half we played better especially after Mkhi was in. The whole game there was no identity, nothing. Damian, Lindeloef... I dont know how on earth they are still here.

I mean no offense but I have never seen anyone to use winded as past participle of win and it is kind of funny :)
English is not my first language so I really understant the issue that there are just some words you need to learn the participles instead of constructing them.

Yes, Bristol city winded. It was a really big won in their history. It had been a long time since Bristol city windeded such a big virtually unwonded-able game. Amazing achievement for them to go into the game with a windeded mentality. They maybe can now winded promotion.
