Peru without Guerrero was still better, but the Kiwis had the better chances. Peru is almost comically bad defensively when you simply loft balls into their area. Half the time they don't contest the header, and a quarter of the time the other team winds up with a good scoring chance, which is how New Zealand almost scored twice. Although they didn't win at home, the 0-0 draw helps the Kiwis because even a 1-1 draw means they advance. So, Peru is in a must win game, unless it's another 0-0 game, which I don't see happening. I can't see the Kiwis beating Peru in Lima, but without Guerrero and with their abysmal defending, it'll be a close game.
