Bale is such an asset to Real Madrid when healthy. If he gets the steam going he will definitely help them get back on track.

to be fair , VAR do many good things, but its ruin the game, ruins the fans who watch it, seriously me myself never enjoy the game with VAR, if like that now player must not celebrate the goal if it was near offside, because like 30-60 sec later ref might change the scoreline, better if VAR can make very quick decision, like 2-5 sec after goal and tell the ref as soon as possible and the ref decide to give goal or not, or give the quick info about offsides to linesman so they raise the flag like 1-3 sec after offside, anyway mistakes always part of football, we are human, if everything perfect than football will be lost,
no mistake no emotion no passion no entertainment.

VAR isn't the problem, but the way they utilize it. They should have a ref whose job is to review major events in the game so mistakes can be corrected in a timely manner.

I remember when everyone was crying for VAR to be implemented, and everywhere. Last time as I remember when Barca got a goal disallowed. Look, VAR wont make life on earth paradise... but it will make it a little bit better. And if it is a small tiny step towards the better then it is a step to be taken! There are pros and cons with everything in life.

VAR is must needed now in its current form for better future. Enough of refs mistakes and enough seeing hypocrites calling Barca ‘Uefalona’ if ref decision favors them otherwise it is all well..

Good win for Real against a really passionate Al-Jazira who were propably playing the game of their live. Their goalkeeper in particular was really good and while the refereeing was kinda weird (bad?), I think it was a great game. Bale victorious return is also quite good to see, hopefully, he keep this up and retake his spot in the starting 11. :D

Even with video reply they still disallowed that (i dont know if own goal or casemiro's) goal? I think it should have counted.

The news channel is written "Al-Jazeera"... this team is "Al-Jazira"... But I think it is the same in arabic, so you are partially right
