OH Neymar. Brazil were dominating Japan. Took the foot off the gas at halftime. It's a friendly

Gabriel Jesus scores tap in goals all the time. Not sure he can really function well in a not too well oiled team.

Sao Paulo, Brazil 2 96

He has been deployed as a centre forward, as an out-and-out striker, as a false 9, as an inside forward, as a winger or as an attacking midfielder in Palmeiras, Man City and Brazil. In his second year as professional, he was top scorer and 5th in assists, helping his team Palmeiras become league champions after 22 years, scoring all kinds of goals. This team has been relegated and rejoined Brazil Serie A only in 2014. Not a good team, actually. Just look at their players. He has 20 apps and already 14 goals for Manchester City, with limited playing time. He scores tap in goals all the time because his positioning is outstanding, and because he adapted his style to Pep's style. And he is only 20 years old. His career just started. We can and will see more of him.

Like kirsi16 said, it's all about his positioning. He's shown that at City since his very first match.

what sort of team gets rid of players that successfully score tap ins anyway? I keep hearing the tap in argument, but average players don't get that many tap in goals.

So what if he scores tap in goals? No one gives a crap if a striker scores tap in goals as long as they can keep on scoring!!!

If tap-in goals were easy to score everyone would be a top scorer. It takes instinct and a good ability to read the game to be in the right place at the right time.

Surprised they only pulled out 3 goals in this match. Was expecting at least 5 goals from Brasil.

No that is a reasonable scorline...Don't know if you follow ACL but Japan have been in pretty good form recently...convincing win from Brazil...

WTF...I know that some Asian countries are good at football (e.g S.Korea and Japan) but under the guidance of the new coaching staffs, and with the current squad and the form they are in.. I was expecting ALOT of goals today from Brasil. I wasnt depreciating the Japanese team by any means. In fact, my favourite footballer at the moment is Son Heung-min (S.Korean) to tell you the truth!

I'm not taking anything from Brazil @Sir_Frank, I luv the team!!
All I am saying is that Japan are very reasonable opposition atm, so the lower than expected scoreline is reasonable??
