Bad luck Syria. I feel for your country, but not for your Association Football Team. Rolling along the ground, Sliding tackles from behind, falling off the medicab to waste time, feigning injury which was expected but utterly embarassing. The completely wrong way to represent your country.

I watched the game and neither one of both teams is my country but I had mixed emotions. Wish if they both qualified. Syrian players, hold your heads up high because with current conditions, it is impossible to play any sport but you guys made it possible.
I am feeling a bit anxious because that evil, Al-Assad might hurt these players or their families. When Al Soma brought to the national team, he was able to release a soccer player from being in prison after 4 years!!!! That was promised to him if he scored and Syria made it to the next stage. That article is still going over my head.
Congrats Australia and I wish Syria a better luck next WC Qualifications.

When will video replay technology be used in crucial matches such as this one. That second yellow was just too harsh.

VAR isn't used for second yellows anyway

I am sure he will! He is ultimately the best player of my team (Al-Ahli) even though he is facing a drop this year in his performance. He is a perfectly complete player.
His tears are so valuable.....

Had that last free kick from Syria gone in...Would they have been penalty shootout or Syria would just win on away goals?

Had this freekick gone in off the post, the last kick of the game virtually. Syria WOULD have qualified on away goals rule.

bla bla bla! a country of your standard, with no bloody war going on should have not even needed a play off to qualify that too till extra time. Before comparing, analyse well. Imagine if Syria was stable, it would have kicked Australia's a**.

What are you talking about? I remember both games for Australia vs. Saudi Arabia. You guys were wasting time and your players were faking injuries. Plus you are just lucky because both yellow cards were very very very harsh.
