great come back from that fucking horrible lazio defeat. Now we need to keep the momentum going and use this exact squad vs udinese a must win in our next serie a game
playing a 3-5-2 against Asutria Wein in the Europa League is one thing. Montella having the balls to use this system in Serie A is something else entirely. Having said that i'm not against his 4-3-3 system as long as he uses Hakan or Bonventura in the midfield. The lazio defeat came down to borini and cutrone not do anything and little to no service coming out of midfield.
this match is the end of the boring 4-3-3 that montella is hell bent about the player we have doesn't suit 4-3-3 and please stop bending over for Montolivo hakan and silva proved to montella that it is time for shift in formation
I agree with the people on here. Not sure why they keep insisting Montolivo. Against Lazio, 95% of his passes were back to defenders and the passes that did go forward went straight to the opposition. He is way too slow and we kept attacking down the left where he was and nothing happened, we looked way more dangerous down the right side. As for Montella, it's a case of a learner driver trying to drive a high end sports car, he just isn't up to it. The one thing I'm jealous of Inter is their coach Spalletti, i wish we got him instead but oh well, shit happens.
Man..don't underestimate Montella that much, because he's a truly capable coach, and we have to give him (at least) one whole season, to see how the team will do under his guidance. And then the following year, should be the season when we could see the fruits of Montella's work. If the team isn't fulfilling its potential in such a case, then we should talk about changing the coach. So far it's fine. He insists on technically superb football and offensive style. He's lacking some things we see in Allegri, or Spallett (I won't mention Sarri, he's completely different story), or even Conte. But he's developing just fine.
And when it comes to Montolivo, I've said it zillion times - GET RID OF HIM! He represents everything bad in Milan in the past horrible 5 years, we all wanna forget! OUT!!!
Fuckin hell! This was much, much needed - the best penicillin against the depressive episode in Rome last weekend! Here's a great chance to do the same thing the following weekend against Udinese, and then again versus SPAL (when I'm planning a trip to San Siro, so you better be ;) ). Although I must admit that at the start of the 2nd and Wiena's quick goal, a thought about something bad happening went through my mind, but fortunately, our boys made sure nothing like that happens & just sealed the win!
Now, some haters will say that Austria isn't the team Lazio is (or some other powerful Serie A team), and although that's true, the thing is that this win isn't a result of a weaker opponent, but by a great performance, different choice of players, and slightly changed formation.
Forza!!
So he's playing Borini-Cutrone-Calabria against the S.S. and Kalinic-Silva-Abate against the f@@ing Wien... Has he decided NOT to compete for the Serie A this season? Is he already concentrating on the E.L.? All the same, solid performance and good win. Forza Milan!!
