tbh, we had 65% possession in the first half, with more than twice as many corners, more shots (including the only one on target), and of course the only actual goal. BT Sport may have given you the idea that we were crap, but it wasn't actually true. They just like saying things like that, because most of the pundits support our rivals (or are our bitter ex-manager).

Someone isn't happy about what they said it seem. :P Seriously though, no need to post four comment on the highlight page to remind everyone Spurs aren't crap. Most inteligent peoples know that. :)

Well, there was no need for more than four people to voice the nonsense that BT Sport gave them, but they did anyway. So, I responded completely appropriately and pointed out why this was wrong.

Have a nice evening. :)

@Lodatz Fair enough. Have a good day as well mate. ;)

@pronax best value transfer :D

What... They were outplayed the entire first half and you call it a sublime performance? Get some perspective...

Zennsyg yes but Trippier (zero left foot) at LB, no Vertonghen, Eriksen, Wanyama, Dembele, Rose, Dele, Lamela makes it a more impressive 3 points. The bench looked weak on paper, Llorente is a huge addition.

real betis

In the first half, Spurs had 65% possession, twice as many corners, more shots, and of course the only goal. APOEL had a good 10 minute spell, and you call it being outplayed. Get some perspective.

Or maybe just stop making a troll account.

Welback Wilshire rose alli sterling Barkley stones walker butland pickford are all world class young talents like the pundits say so you're wrong

His positioning, and those perfectly timed runs and finishing are probably the best in the whole PL. Such and gifted and rather underrated player, the aka "3 season wonder" now, as haters would depict him probably.

Welbeck world class? hahaha

couldn't agree more

wheelchair?lol!

Obviously

you certainly don't mean that after that first half display against apoel.... certainly...

Banter

choochoo Pochettino was forced to make tough decisions due to the amount of key players missing. He made a mistake forcing Spurs into a back 3 in the first half, with players out of position such as Trippier who is shambolic at LB (I don't think I saw him use his left foot once the first half). After Llorente came on, Spurs switched to a back 4 which tidied things up considerably, Trippier moved to his preferred side and played a part in 2 goals, Davies at LB etc.

It's not even as though we were bad in the first half. APOEL hit the post, but that was it. LOL Harry Redtwat said that we were unable to keep possession in the first half, while we were racking up 65% possession. Maybe this inability to understand possession is why he never got us higher than 4th.

Yeah, he plays right to the line. Off the pitch he has a temper and almost was incarcerated last while in Paris for assault.
