Yes normally he was a wing back a few years ago. But our defensive weakness over the last years has made him play as a CB and he's been playing like that for like 2-3 years I guess. Pepe has strengthened the defence. He took it to a new level more precisely. I personally would like to see how Medel and Pepe do together if they both play as CBs.
