Europa League will be fun to watch actually. Many quality teams are going to be knockout stages.

That goalkeeper cost 40 million euro haha.

Real Madrid/Barcelona, Malaysia 17 741

At least they're first in the league unlike yours who spend about 100 million and end up at midtable haha.

milanlamiavita 9 years ago

Bustese Milano City, Italy 4 3418

Milan are 4 months into spending again, post 6 years of downsizing. Man City have spent nearly a billion over a decade, and they've won the champions league on 0 occasions. More importantly, support your local team.

Bro Ederson has been brilliant for City the rest of this season. This was the first time I've seen him make a mistake and it was probably good because if goes into the tackle there and gets sent off then City have no keeper besides bravo for the knockout stages (That's probably what he was thinking as he pulled out of the challenge)

@milaniamiavita are you saying that nobody in this world except local milan people can support ac milan? you didn't complain when your club bought player using foreign money! hypocrit! maybe you should just support a smalll local club that nobody else outside milan knows about it!

Lmao what? Also with a half-teenager team and that back line and a formation they never played before (It wasn't 4-3-3 that's just a footyroom error) and tons of players out of position then maybe xD

Ederson, what did you do?

T1lt3d 9 years ago

He probably went for the ball then pulled out of the challenge thinking "I'd rather give up a goal in meaningless game than get sent off and be disqualified from last 16 and quarterfinal.

This is even bigger surprise than Napoli (who are currently in a weak form - for their top level, of course), than Feyenord winning over Napoli! What better proof that Shakhtar are a top team, and as a I said previously, the best team from Eastern Europe, along with (probably) Zenit St. Petersburg! And they don't even play on their own stadium (which is yet another typically discriminatory decision by UEFA, because claiming it's not safe is the same as if saying it's not safe going on a vacation in Rio, because of the gangs in the favelas).
Bravp Shakhtar1 Although I wanted Napoli to go through, you deserved it! THey all underestimated you (especially Napoli in the 1st match), thinking it'd be a walk in a park, just as Man-City tonight, and you proved them all wrong!
Bravo!

T1lt3d 9 years ago

It was a great performance from them, but look at city's line-up and formation. It wasn't a big surprise they didn't get anything out of this game. But having already secured the top spot, this game wasn't really important to them and they focused on the Derby this weekend.

Napoli is just an overrated trash. Their players - Zielinski, Milik, Jorginho, all are trash

Man, UEFA have nothing to do with the Shakhtar's stadium in Donetsk! Donetsk is now occupied by Russian troops and there is war going on over there! That is why Shakhtar play their matches in Kharkiv. But I agree with you that Ukrainian champion is the best team in Eastern Europe right now.

> Shakhtar is a small team
> Napoli should qualified instead of Shakhtar
> Shakhtar will be raped on the next round

Shakhtar deserved to be on the next round. Napoli is utter overrated trash. Go kys to everyone who said Shakhtar
shouldn't qualified instead of Napoli. Shakhtar is an Eurooean giant and are better than Napoli.

Lmao Shaktar are a good team and played way better than city this game, but City were playing a half-B team and they didn't play like they wanted to win (because the game was meaningless to them) while Shakhtar played with passion. Saying their better than Napoli is a big stretch and Napoli certainly isn't trash. They dominate in their league but had a really poor CL for whatever reason. For city fans, I'd say most would rather have Shakhtar go through than Napoli.

blacknigga 9 years ago

U dont know what the ">" means? Also Ive seen this on facebook - most ppl regardless of teams they support said Shakhtar doesnt deserve the spot.

T1lt3d 9 years ago

5 897

They do deserve it because they got more points, but saying that Shaktar is better than Napoli is a huge stretch. Beating a city B team who didn't get out of 3rd gear 2-1 doesn't make them a football giant all of a sudden, but I wish them all the best in the knockout stages.

Most of these teams become prey to teams like real madrid. I would choose Napoli over Shakhtar anyday. If city played their A team then Shakhtar at least conceded 3 goals more. I am not saying Shakhtar doesn’t deserve but they are easy for Europe’s big teams in next stages since they put easy game on their weekly schedule,.

T1lt3d 9 years ago

Take a look at City's back Line. Mangala and Danilo is already shit and then a CAM at left back and a teenager at center back

It was the B team but still played pretty poorly. Only Brahim Diaz looked good.

Morales, Gundogan, fernandinho, Toure, MAngala, Danilo, Sane, Bernardo Silva and Jesus are all B team

T1lt3d 9 years ago Edited

The GK honestly makes no difference, Mangala, Bernardo Danilo and Toure are certainly not starters though and Gundogan also hasn't played that much this season

@Hamouda
How is Fernandinho B team? How is Sane B team?

PotoToto 9 years ago

Manchester City 0 26

@Zeshii I think @Hamouda was being sarcastic that we didn't have a B team and fielded a good team with strong players

Somewhat disagree. Out of those listed, Ederson, Fernandinho and Sane are the only ones that are nailed on starters for City. Jesus is kinda in there although he gets rotated heavily
However that's just 3 (and a half ish) players - Gundogan is slowly coming back in while Toure, Mangala, Danilo and B Silva are definitely not starters.
