Atletico Madrid

Its true, thought they are still good opponent. Really hope you meet PSG though, the rivality between Chelsea and them is becoming a derby in itself. :)

Agree and PSG and Barca don't like playing Chelski.

Remember, Courtois was out on loan at ATM so that can not be considered as ATM GK production

You can credit Atletico for good scouting but especially with Courtois development. He was on loan and our coaches team was constantly in contact giving advises on his training and development.

Facts

And strikers too.

And strikers! Torres, Aguero, Falcao, Diego costa, Antoine Griezmann.. even the Real Madrid legend Raúl was formed by Athletico

Scrolling down peacefully through the comments. Then I saw firebraguette comment and it pissed me. Pls in God's name never you credit Raul to atm, yes he did play for their youth when he was quite young before the youth system was shutdown due to some financial problem atm face at the moment. And he actually did his growing in RM youth.. where he played for our C, B and finally A youth before joining the senior squad. So please don't credit Raul to atm.. never make that mistake man

So he did play for the Athletico Madrid youth program right?

You are right.. looking at current standings your team has 33 percent of facing barca, psg, and Beşiktaş... I hope by luck we avoid you. Stamford bridge is the place I do not want my team to travel. We have bad history there..

I think we can beat them, today certainly showed that they are vulnerable at the back.

Barca , PSG or Bestikas ; y got the toughest draws

I'm actually hoping it happen Eden, the rivality between and them is really great to watch, beside, like other said, I think you might well beat them this time around. :D

Given the fact Chelsea cant face City, United, Liverpool or Spurs(due to same country) and Roma due to the same group; Chelsea can only be paired up against PSG, Barca or Besiktas. Thats some tough oponents for a round of 16.

I think we're closer to PSG than we have been the last two seasons. In the end, you either win the CL or you don't, and if you deserve to win then you've got to be able to beat any team, so bring on PSG/Barca. For sure there's a small rivalry I guess between us and PSG, but we've had some great games against Barca as well.

Because that's the way it goes right? Look how we were all over United on Saturday but still lost 3-1. That's EAids for you lol

Because they wanna face PSG again, and it will be cool for David Luiz.

@arsenalclub u loosing to man united and us tying with atletico are two different type of games we battred atletico and u just had more possession and shots on target than united but the different between chelsea and arsenal is we don't let teams score with in 3 minutes of the game

How can you say you battered Atletico but we didn't batter United? We had 33 shots of goal and 18 on target with 75% possession. You had far less in all categories. Chelsea did batter Atletico in this game but you can't say we didn't batter United. United deserved to win though I'm not saying we deserved to win or anything.
