The players gave absolutely everything today, almost in tears after the game. That is what it means to be Celtic.

Frank, enlighten us as to the reason y'all couldn't defeat Roma with your elite footballing mind. Hopefully not due to lack or excess cheering i'm guessing?
Cheers :)

Yessss! Martinez playing not as a CB!!!! He was so good at DM before his injury under Jupp. Hope he'll give him a chance in this position even though he lost so much pace after that injury. But it would be absolutely heroic if he will give a great season in this position now... Nice goal too

He is now standard CDM, also looking really good. Jupp loves him and knows where to play him. He also lost a bit of pace but not too much. For CDM he doesn't have to have some elite-level pace.

Why do you guys celebrate like there is no tmrw when it was only an equaliser? Thats why Scottish teams cant succeed.

Bc we are not expected to beat these teams. The players are a bunch of nobodies realistically. But as soon as you put on the shirt, you feel like you like you're in the land of giants. Almost half the city is behind you. Feels like the whole country.

The club also has played ENG Prem teams 19 times in Europe. Winning 8 drawing 5. Juventus, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United, Ac Milan, Shakhtar, Ajax have all fallen at Celtic Park. Last time we met Bayern at home it was 2-2.

We shouldn't be doing this but the list goes on. How much do we get for winning the SPL? 1-2 Million Pounds, 20-25 from UEFA. That's one Christian Benteke in todays world. If we were to beat Bayern, it would mean more to the fans than that. That's why we celebrate the way we do.

Why bother when our wings and AM does the work when Lewa's out
Dont need no spending big money on "top" strikers yeah

We don't want Sanchez tho, his peak will last short, he won't help already disrubted locker room and he surely doesn't have respectful wages compared to others in our team. We just need someone who wants solid wage but doesn't mind sitting on bench, and scores when he comes in.

We have few good talents in academy, Evina is good but 17 so it's hard to say how will he turn up. We also got one striker from Feyenoord this summer, looking good too. Wintzheimer is solid and will probably be in first team next season. That's all from strikers, we have better midfielders though.
