Great season so far, 2nd in the league, first to qualify to the round of 16 in the UCL and one point away of securing first place, and finally through to the quarter finals of the Carabao cup. Putting the average performance aside this team is solid, you hardly create chances against this team which we can applaud Jose for that, but it's not good enough, we need to improve our attacking, Jose needs to improve this if we want to win the PL.
Benfica got a great team not sure why the performances are bad, I thought they were the ones who'll qualify with us but they were disappointing, maybe the manager? would love to see Marco Silva take the job I think he'll do great with them!
For Benfica, as usual, no Portuguese referees, no party. How about those emails? I think the entire world should know that these corrupted morons had all the referees in their pocket, the Portuguese Federation and even some smaller clubs from the first league. All written in emails that came to public. False titles from a farce of a club. They even lie about their foundation date, these pathetic morons.
To the Benfica fans, you guys should be proud of this goalie since he is a rising star.. Yes he is making blunders, but this only reminds me of De Gea at his early days.. So this guys can be a future star... :)
What a terrible referee decision we saw in this match - first, a pure penalty for Benfica (made by Baily, when he pushed off the Benfica player), and then an Oscar performance by Martial, to which the ref fell - and these aren't just my words, but if you're watching BT Sports report after the match, you'll hear Rio Ferdinand, Lampard and S. Gerrard, all of them saying the same thing. And if Benfica were given the (deserved) penalty, when the result was 0-0, the whole match could've gone in a completely different direction!
But, it is what it is, and after many years of agonizing results in UCL (in the years when they were led by D. Moyes & L.V. Gaal), Man-Utd has a good campaign to look forward to (although they had the luck to play in one of the easiest groups - that's A FACT!
Don't worry about that, in Portugal, Benfica has all the referees under control. It's all in emails that came out to public. Even though it was all to clear for the last few years now. Fuck them. They are corrupted so they don't deserve any sympathy.
for real, stop making a fool of ourselves when our team just got battered. like just shut the fuck up and stay in the corner of your room and cry or something
They should just get rid off own goals and credit the goal to the attacker who touched the ball last. Kind of like how they give own buckets to the offensive player closest to the rim in basketball. Otherwise the attacker gets no credit and the defender/keeper just gets memed.
