Another ruthless performance. It's always hard to play in Russia but the lads kept their omposure to wrap it up. But honestly, I think CSKA made very easy for us with their horrendous defensive errors. They could have easily avoided all 4 goals with a bit more concentration.

Easy group for Manchester United team and the most lucky team in the champions league this season is Manchester United

I'm almost mad Mbappe is such a great player because I think it effected Martials confidence, hes really a class player, when hes in the mood hes unplayable.

In contrast, I'd like it if Mbappé remains the center of attention so Martial could keep on working hard and avoid media pressure. He'll definitely grow that high level we want him to be in ;)

I don't know why but Lukaku irritates me! maybe because I think he is egotistical, thats what I feel anyway..I remember in Chelsea when he was only 18 complaining for not playing among the starting 11...

he's not really the best attractive style guy in any term but he is doing what his price tag worth (I still think his off ball movement is pretty bad), but one he improves that, we have a true beast

@tuan_jinn Exactly, his style is not really attractive but so damn well effective

I agree with this. I rate him very highly but he is a smug, arrogant man.

depend on your defensive strategy, i see CSKA was awful defending last night

I has just being biased, mainly because of the embarrassing loss against Basel. And having a good defensive strategy doesn't work as long the defenders are absolutely terrible.

this Moscow had like 13 shots and score 1, the other Moscow side that play against Liverpool had only 1 shot 1 goal ..... Man utd 13 shots and 4 goals, Liverpool 25 shots (13 of it inside penalty area)and 1 goal .....Liverpool Finishing problem or Man utd just more clinical ? or Man utd keeper better ?

Last season we had the same problem. Haters were always crying that Mourinho parks the bus. Funny how things change.

Hope Liverpool can bounce back in the upcoming matches though!

I thin it's a mix of all things you mentioned. Liverpool are still shaky in defence and they miss too many chances every game. On the other hand, United found the attacking lethality that was missing last year and still have one of the best defences in the league to add to one of te best goalies in the world right now.

with liverpool goalkeeping and defending you don't even need to shoot to score

This is why Ranieri labelled martial as his best ever signing over the likes of even lampard

Just as Pogba was looking so dangerous he picked up an injury, hope the same doesn't happen with Mkhitaryan...
De Gea can only be beaten with a tap in :D

haha yeah, it was a good goal from CSKA though. We kinda lacked of the concentration and got punished by it!
Admittedly Akinfeev was so great today, if not for him the score should have been higher!

trimind 9 years ago

Manchester United, Canada 3 533

Yes, this is a good performane and we could have easily scored 7 or 8 goals if not for Akinfeev!

I am happy with both the result and the way we play! Just a bit worrying about Martial, hope his injury is not serious. He played wonders today.
