Amazing. Just amazing. What a sensational return to the champions league by united. Despite haters would find delight in saying, "man united have the easiest group in the champions league", I'd say that we do have the easiest group in the champions league, and we're happy. man united will hopefully be guaranteed knockout phase football, and might even actually win the champions league. I know it sounds impossible, knowing that teams like real madrid, or barcelona, or bayern munich have always been the favourites to win this european cup competition. but with true effort, man united will write their name on the trophy once again, and 'lord' fellaini will hopefully have an amazing last year with united before completing the move to galatasaray.

Good stats for Marcus, scoring on all his debuts. Now, if he could only continue on this path for his World Cup debut. That would definitely be a record...I think.

Fellaini takes a lot of stick but always seems to come up with big goals.

when it comes to curve balls, Young has to be among the best in the league/world!
Power and accuracy, still remember his sick goals vs Arsenal in debut season

good to start with a clean sheet against feared opponents! GGMU

Big encouragement we can take from this game is we can play well without Pogba. My biggest fear when Mourinho said he was building his team around Pogba was that we would become a one-man-team and not be able to perform well without Pogba.

Fellaini is a beast!

Nice shot from Rashford, believe it or not most professionals wouldn't even finish that with that much space and pressure most would fuck up and put it off target and put their hands on their head like HOW TF DID I MISS THAT but Rashford is just too calm and bam makes it too easy

He's not good technically, but he is tall, strong and very good with the heads ;). If you know how to use him, then he's a great asset. And by using I mean playing long and physical ball more. He is also good positionally. Although, he lacks speed, dribbling among other things. So if your team adopt a quick passing style or dribling plus high tempo game, he's not suitable, plain and simple.

It's not about he is improving, it is just a matter of using him the right way with the right game plan.

Remember when he was at Everton? In his last season he scored 2 digits.

Totally agree, he runs the show in the middle of our park. Unfortunate for Pogba, I hope he gets well soon. We need him for the title challenge and everything else!

There was a reason I guess for Mourinho to say Fellaini was more important than him for the team.
