Finally! Fuckin hell, finally we, the football fans in Macedonia have a reason to cheer and feel proud that we have a really good team that can could compete (at least) in the Europa League! If they were more concentrated in the 3rd stage of the UCL qualifications against Copenhagen, the way they were these two matches against Fener, we would've seen Vardar entering the UCL group stage.
But this is a great success anyway, and after that fiasco in Denmark, Vardar beat even much stronger team than Copenhagen, and entered the group stage - the first time for a Macedonian football club!
All players were great, especially in the 2nd half, when they began to actually play football, and not just defend and wait for a counter attack, like in the first half!

Watched the game.. and Vardar fought non-stop, they remind me of Leicester, fast counter attacks and good passing decision when attacking, Fenerbahce made a lot of mistakes, that's true, but Vardar also had merit, I think they were pretty underrated, they have nice players, hope they can play with 'soft' teams in group stage, i'll certainly watch them, they play with a lot of criteria, I love that!

Funny tho, Fenerbahce fans were saying ole, ole, ole etc when Vardar was passing the ball around and then when they scored the goal in the 90 they celebrated it and applauded, never seen a team doing this, I can only imagine how angry they are with their own players.. but honestly with a squad like that.. good names indeed but that's not what makes football :))
