If Milan had a great manager i would be scared right now but its all good everyone. Montella is still the manager. I would love nothing more then if he got sacked in the first month of the campaign. Milan just need a good manager to go along with there good signings

You look at that lineup and squad and bar maybe Candreva, Inter don't have a single potential champion. Candreva, Perisic, Icardi and the keeper are potential game changers, but in all honesty, the rest wouldn't even stand out in a mid-table team. For Inter to do better than last season, they'd need those four players to be in fifth gear every single game, which is impossible. Murillo, Gagliardini, Joao Mario, Kondogbia and Gabriel were bought for ridiculous amounts of money. Would Inter buy them again if they had a second chance? NO.

Great and interesting question. In a heart beat for Baselli, he's good but won't ever be great. Benassi is fantastic for his age, captain of the Under 21s. De Rossi even said over one of the international breaks that "Gagliarini is the player that resembles himself the most."
The real question is, if Juve had signed Gagliardini instead of Inter would that change your perspective and viceversa for Bernardeschi if he had joined Inter?

Yes i would give them all a second chance. They all played bad under managers that were shit! We went through 3 managers this year.Mancini should have never resigned with inter shitty preseason. De boer wasnt good enough with 0 experience in serie a.
And by the time we got pioli it was too late , all the other teams were already in full gear. He deserved more time.Dont put all the blame on the players for inters bad season

Ill tell you something though, we have a better manager now with spalletti. The only thing Milan need now is a good manager, too bad they only have the average montella. Was very impressed with what spalletti did with roma but i cant say the same for milan and montella. Great signigs though.

Well...again, you can't be great if you don't get chances and opertuniries. Montella is a young coach, Spalletti has been coaching longer so it's not quite a fair comprision or argument. It's like saying AC Milan have the better players and Inter have the better Manager...who cares in the end, it depends who ends up where at the end of the season.
Still a lot of transfer window left...still have to wat and see.

For the life of me, I cannot understand how anyone can criticise Montella. He overachieved at Catania, massively overachieved at Fiorentina and did better than most clubs with more spending power and income. Look at their predicament since he left. He comes to Milan, takes over a terribly average team and literally drags them to a Europa league finish kicking and screaming. He always plays a positive style of football. You'll see his worth this coming season.
That's what I've been trying to say. Everyone wants results right away and anything less is deemed subpar or a complete failure. Both the Managers and players need time, AC Milan is a fragile club with a ton of players coming and going each season. They never had proper time to gel. I wouldnt be surprised if Montella inspired AC Milan to 4th this season considering Juve, SSC Napoli and AS Roma are a level above (at the moment), but I also wouldn't be surprised if they finished 8th either. Best of luck to AC Milan

You're spot on. The people who are making outrageous statements such as challenging for the title etc are living in the land of the fairies. You don't overturn 6 years of downsizing in 2 months. A lot of work needs to be done, and I don't believe we'll see the best of the current side until maybe mid november at the least. But of course, Milan has to aspire to finishing higher than last season. Finishing below Lazio and atalanta would be deemed unacceptable, at least on the basis of the investment.
It's also important to remember a surprise package such as Sassuolo or Atalanta reaching either Europa league or even Champions league. Quite a few mid table clubs are rebuilding this season not to mention both Inter and AC Milan. Not sure SS Lazio will be as potent this upcoming season.
Difficult to imagine Atalanta repeating last season's successes. Regarding Lazio, they've only lost Biglia though he will be massively missed both as a leader and midfield enforcer. Didn't quite get why they signed Leiva. Bit of an odd signing. A lot will depend on whether they'll keep hold of keita balde and milinkovic savic.
Ok thats true. Based of of last season Montella deserve to stay but lets be honest he wasn't that impresive, still deserves to stay because he got Milan in europa which is a slight improvement from last year i get it. But just look at the goal difference! Alot of last minute wins and ties for Milan last campaign, they were lucky to qualify for europa in my unbias opinion. I just dont think he can take Milan to the next level based on what I have seen, especially now with Europa league in Milans schedual. I beleive he will crumble under the pressure. Hes got good fighting spirit though the way Milan came back to tie Inter last year and also winning the supercoppa, but im afraid he doesn't have the quality or credentials as a manager to take Milan to the next level.
Inter Milan has many good players but does not have the spirit of fight . so , nothing change from previous season to the next season ..... inter Milan sucks
4 managers and 1 caretaker in a span of a year can tire the players mentally. Now we have a good manager now. Montella gonna get sacked soon bud no matter how many signings

I don't think they'll flop. There's still plenty of time until the transfer window closes, but, Inter should really invest in a couple top acquisitions at the very least. All the top teams in Serie A are improving their squad superbly except for the nerazzurri. So far, at least.
Look at dortmund they take average player and make them great because of the managers tactics and philosophy. Milan wont do anything this year because of an average manager, watch. They can sign anyone they want they arent doing anything this year they just need a good italian manager like spalletti

one more thing, don't judge team's successfulness only from it's transfer activities. A team needs balance.
