Neymar IS happy at Barça. His dad wants him at PSG. And Neymar has never ever stood up once against his dad. I really hope Ney gets rid of his dad as his agent. Nearly all his trouble comes from his dad. The relations with Barça's directory went really bad because his dad insists in contacting several clubs and menacing Barça with this. Was same as with Santos and DIS.

Hope Real Madrid buys Kylian Mbappe, so people won't moan about Pogba's price tag anymore.

Both teams finishing sucked this game. Barca deserved the win more not because of the tiki-taka but due to the quality of chances they created but that goal is meh. Fellaini and Lingard will always have a questionable performances.

United's defence looks really average during this game. I predict a second round exit for next season's UCL, barely qualifying from their group.

They were very good and if it wasn't for De Gea, they would beat United 2-0 or even 3-0

Both sides played intensely the first half. Barça started to dominate MU after Neymar's goal. And it continued that way the second half. De Gea made some miracle saves. Neymar played more aggressively than usual for some reason. Luis Henrique used to play Neymar at the far left. Valverde's approach makes both Neymar and Messi play more centrally.

big teams is one thing, big games are another. Pre-season means nothing at all.

tbh, even if this wasn't a friendly match we still wouldn't beat barca. we just aren't at their level yet. but overall it's been a better preseason for us compared to last yr for which i'm still proud.

I would agree with you on it. We are still in the process of rebuilding our team, but it is solid pre-season that we have this year. I mean with the way Mou team set up, we can challenge the top teams in Europe. Remember in past preseason we won against Barca and Real, then we did not perform well when it mattered most. This season I think we will be very different. We can hope to have a good run in CL and mount a serious title challenge in BPL. If not this year, then next year will be huge for us. Anyway, I expect a strong solid run from us this season, especially when our preseason looks very promising.

yeah Barca is the better team today. Still a lot of work ahead for Man United, and it is a friendly so it is not a conclusion. Hopefully Man United will improve considerably and I do expect that. We will see in the CL how they will fare against the other team, and I do believe we will be much harder to beat (as most Mou team in the past). Very similar to the way Bayern got thrashed by Milan, but as I said it is just a friendly game so take nothing serious from it.

An average display by us. Should have been more critical in finishing as well as the way we defend the position. Lindelof performance is still not convincing. We do get some real chances at the beginning of the game and in the second half. Anyway, it is only a friendly so it is good to have real work out against a world class opponent as Barca.
Congrats to Barca as they look very good in pre-season.

I don't get it though, Neymar play looks very menacing at times, but he looks a bit grumpy. He should stay at Barca I think. It is mutual beneficial for both Barca and himself.
