Australia coach Ange Postecoglou must be smoking lots of funny stuff when he highly speaks about the Australian team. Just makes me laugh about Australia to win the confederation cup in Russia... Perhaps Ange Postecoglou lives on another distant planet ...

I hope conte starts david luiz as a midfielder, he plays much better there.
Goes into challenges, is strong, makes good tackles, has very good passing, he is tall and has decent pace!

Everything you said is true of his game, but he doesn't have the balanced mindset of a holding mid. Put him there and he'll be shooting from 30+ yards every other possession. Also he lacks the ability to take a snapshot of the field in his mind, turn his back, receive the ball and then make the accurate correct pass on pure instinct which is an attribute any top level cm should have.

I still think Diego Alves should be the starting GK, not Alisson. Taison, Giuliano, Jemerson and Rodriguinho are weak for Brazilian standards. Alex Sandro should improve more. And Douglas Costa should have more play time. And why hasn't any European team sign a contract with Paulinho yet? He should not be in the Chinese league. Australia had 4 shots all game, 1 shot on goal, which says a lot about this game.

Once you go to China you aren't coming back to Europe's top clubs.

Brazil was too much for Australia. A big improvement space is figured out.
