Zimbabwe was unlucky! Algeria defense is awful just like Man City and the only difference is that their goalie is better than Bravo.

Very disappointed with the draw against Algeria. In our last 3 games we have drawn 2 and won 1 @ our last AFCON. If only the team did not drop deep in the second and have Algeria come on to us. Otherwise, as underdogs its a better result than losing.

For all the strength Algeria possess offensively, their defense could be better than that. Same reason they got ripped apart in Nigeria during world cup qualifying

Algeria have changed manager 3 times in less than a year. With all the defensive issues that needs to be fixed, a constant change in strategy and coach is very problematic. But you guys are really strong!

Mahrez didn't get African Footballer of the Year for nothing!

I actually saw parts of this game as I follow the CAF... And Mahrez did not help his team in the defense. His goals were very important and he is always a threat offensively, but Algeria does not defend as a team and Zimbabwe did it really really good when they attacked.

I agree on defense but without him it would have been a loss. Our goalkeeper was also very good and Brahimi.
