Wow. People who vote lucky for Benfica are quite biased, assuming there's a lot of Turkish fans who have voted here. I agree, Besiktas deserved to equalize, but again, we could have punctured the match before that on several occasions. Regardless, I was surprised by how Besiktas held onto the ball, they're a quality team and I stand by my prediction that Benfica and Besiktas will go out of this group.

From this comment I know you didn't watch the game. Besiktas deserved the equalizer, but nothing more. It wasn't 'unluck' that made Besiktas not win the game, rather Benfica. We could have easily made it 2-0 before they scored the freekick.

@VAMOSBenfica, No. I watched the game, Besiktas deserved to win, you could have easily scored with that Quaresma flop yeah (dafuq was he thinking?) but Besiktas wasted more chances from 6 yards. Consider yourself lucky. Benfica can't just lean back after a one goal advantage. Aand the match in Istanbul will be legendary!

Again, just by looking at that comment you didn't watch the game. I'm not mad, but rather desireful for truth to be spoken when I see people like you saying Besiktas were the better team when, clearly, they weren't.

What you're forgetting is that Besiktas played away yet Besiktas had more clear chances than Benfica had. The only clear chance Benfica had happened because of a huge mistake from Quaresma. Also Besiktas had more possession despite playing away. Besiktas did played better overall. Benfica will struggle alot in Istanbul, i'll tell you that

We deserved the goal. And we got it. We could have won the game but I am giving it to unexperience. Talisca MOTM. Quaresma was awful maybe if he was good we could have scored at least 2 more. Aboubakar looked awful. İnler also didn't play in his potential. Oğuzhan is too young for his first CL game. Anyways we will come back even stronger for 2nd game.

I dont see that as a mistake to be honest. He did what he shouldve done. Just got unlucky and Tosic could not see that coming either. Still it was a goal that we shouldnt of conceded in the first place but it happens. Also Tolga saved a clear chance around 75th minute. It wouldnt be possible to come back if it wasnt for him. Tolga played well today, Tosic even better
