We don't need a RB, we need a left back and a CB, we have Aina, Azpi and Iva at RB. We don't have a true LB which means Azpi has to play back LB and that means Aina or Iva as RB. Knowing Chelsea, because Ivanovic is 2nd captain to Terry, he's going to play more than Aina who is young also, we have to do everything to get Ivanovic not playing much and that's means getting a left back. I don't mind Ivanovic as centre back, he's far better there but as a fullback, he lacks the pace and quick feet against the new generation of wingers who are pacey and can dribble. We need another top centre back. We still have to wait for Zouma to return from injury so that's why Chelsea don't want to sign Koulibaly yet.

Exactly. I'd have Rodriguez from Wolfsburg asap and make Ivan cover for the CB rotation. When Zouma comes back he can take Cahill or Terry spot at the back, but that relies on him hitting form quickly. Azpi and Aina on the right, Cahill Terry Zouma Brana for CBs, Rodriguez and Azpi/Aina at the left if needed. That would do it for me. If by christmas Zouma's knee is still fecked then buy a new CB and sell Brana

Shaky defense. Aside from that, going forward was good. Hazard on point. Costa making good runs. Bats also made good runs when he came on, just needed to polish up his finishing. Oscar played well also.
