How to define Tottenham?
The only answer after thinking is LOW QUALITY MODERN FOOTBALL. Not taking away from this result but if you can score 6 goals against a tough defense in one game but score 0 goals and CHOKE in the most CRUCIAL game of the season, YOU DESERVE NOTHING. I don't know whether this team plays lucky or keep changing their strategy each week to end-up as a major flop.

You can't be 2nd two season in a row like this. Back in the day, if a team did 6 goals in EPL, they were in quarterfinal or semis of Champions League or Europa. Here this one has been nowhere and you can for sure expect them out in first round of Champions League. EPL is still the toughest league no doubt but its quality is so bad that a team being 2nd in it is nothing special unlike other leagues.

Bs. If Chelsea got an off form or a European competition to care of we could have witnessed a different champion. Being 2nd vs a deserved strong champ has nothing humiliating nor reducing of the display they put on this season.

What will happen is Chelsea will challenge again for the title as they will buy well, Spurs won't attract any top players because they don't wanna pay there players more - Example Nathaniel Clyne of Liverpool earns 100k a week where as Kyle Walker doesnt even earn near 70k - hence why he is going to Manchester City! You guys move to Wembley and just like you saw this season won't perform well and struggle to compete on all fronts and well.................... tough to finish top 4. You are totally right, i've noticed that as well. Also i noticed that Mourinho started using 3-4-3 as well and started doing good and then he got back to 4 - 5 - 1 and started doing crapy performances again... Same with Wenger, uses 4 - 5 - 1 Loses and draws then uses 3 -4 - 3 and displays great performances... Personally i think 4 - 5 - 1 is more of a parking the bus tactic and 3 -4 - 3 is for of an all in offensive style of play....

Of course he didn't invent it ! But Conte brought it to the PL... From 2012 - 2016 almost every one was using 4 - 5 - 1 and before they were using 4 - diamond - 2 or 4 - 4 - 2... I remember back in the day all the good teams played with 2 strikers and it was really good. The season we scored more goals with Ancelotti we were playing a 4 - diamond - 2 with anelka and drogba at the front or drogba en Kalou. But now apparently 3 - 4 - 3 is here to stay and it is a very good formation. It will bring more level to PL
