Good. Man Utd should replace most of its defenders with more hungry and younger defenders. No need for fragile and scared defenders who don't know how to mark or tackle well. One more striker will be enough for next season, Rooney can stay if he wishes and I hope Zlatan extends his current. The current defenders really need to improve on their mentality or be replaced with new players. I hope Smalling, Jones, Blind and Darmain goes. Blind could stay back as a defensive midfield player, but hopefully the rest will be sold in the next three transfer windows. This season isn't exactly bad. Liverpool may still yet play Europa next season alongside Arsenal.

I do agree that Rooney is past his prime and should probably move on from the club, but just brushing him off like a piece of meat without acknowledging his contribution is tasteless.

I was just thinking the same.. John Terry received a good send-off at the bridge (not the biggest JT fan whatsoever but he deserved all the recognition), and the idea that Rooney might just be fobbed off in the off-season without a chance to say goodbye on the pitch seems really wrong. Personally I'd like to see him hang around for one more season.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. If United use gomes, gribbin, harrop, tuanzebe, et, At least Homegrown quota is fulfilled if rooney or lingard go out. With one world class striker and back up defender then next season squad will be completed

Mourinho doesn't play youth unless he is forced to and desperate. Now that the youth players show they can actually play, Mourinho will claim credit for it like he made some kind of masterstroke. Next season 4 to 5 "established" players will come in for 25 million each and youth players will be back collecting dust in the reserves.

Josh Harrop is fucking more useful than Both Rooney and Lingard combined. Both of them suck as hell. Imagine if Harrop had played earlier this season. He can fire Utd to at least 3rd in EPl but Mou choose to stick with useless Lingard and keep useless Rooney. Both of them shall be sold next season ffs.
