I really don't know about Al Ahly team, but from what I'm hearing, they're amongst the top African teams. S I really don't understand why is there so much fuss, why Roma lost? Even if they weren't playing their best!

Yes, this was a friendly. But we should also remember that just as Roma played some of their players who don't start, so did Al Ahly. Four or five of them haven't played in months/aren't starters. We should learn to appreciate good football, wherever it's played, and appreciate well-earned victories.

To be honest, I think it might have been something agreed to earlier. For example, when FC Basel bought ElNeny from El Ahly, they agreed to play a friendly in Dubai where El Ahly gets the revenue. It might be one of those things that has followed around Salah's contracts.
