Welp, here is hoping for we see progress in the next match. Team only been training together for 5 days or so now. Mind ya, shouldn't be hard to improve on this match. It was terrible; even for a pre-season match, haha. RLC, Matic and Mikel all had an abysmal match.

In anycase, I am excited for the season to start!

This is not Contes first 'match' with Chelsea. It's the first game in pre-season.. Its just about giving opportunities to youngsters and for Conte to get to know the team. Besides, last time Chelsea played (and lost to) Werder Bremen in pre-season we went on to win the title.

We didn't even get to learn anything useful from this. We already know Ivanovic shouldn't be playing, yet he gives away a goal. Terry should have been moved on as well, yet he's caught ball-watching on the first goal. With Conte being such a defensive specialist, expecting Chelsea to score many goals is not a reality, but instead, being solid defensively. This Chelsea team today was shambles at the back, which is something that simply cannot happen under Conte.

Terry was good it was djilobodjis fault and this is only our first pre season game, the players lacked fitness which was expected bcuz they started training last week but a new CB should be ane will be bought and were set for the new season and by the way conte is not a defensive coach, he just likes his defenders to be organized.
