Imagine this situation: City draw Bayern in the next round. So Pellegrini vs Guardiola. City wins the tie. The chairman of City looks like an idiot. Awkward.........

Gotta say Joe Hart's been a brick wall in this match, especially saving Ibra's two free kicks.

Crazy how massive the impact is from KDB. Last minute goal against Sevilla, super sub against Everton, important goals against PSG, and so on.

OOHHHH KEVIN DE BRUYNE....OOHHHH KEVIN DE BRUYNE....OOHHHH KEVIN DE BRUYNE....

Congratulations to Manchester City! De Bruyne is absolutely fantastic, sad we let him go! We really need him but this is football.

Good now deal with Real, both annoying teams that should not be in later stages of the tournament. One got lucky with the worst Brazilian player Fernandinho or the other Fernando, and Real well have not shown any game in the Champions League worthy of being called champions.

Both clubs didn't play the type of attractive flowing soccer one would expect from money bags hellbent on buying their way to the game's top honours. Following a bright, attacking opening from City, PSG took control and played some flowing passing. PSG opted to start with a three-man back line, but switched to a 4-4-2 formation after Thiago Motta got injured before halftime.Despite dominating possession, PSG did not mount a serious attempt on goal, apart from a free kick from Zlatan Ibrahimovic that Joe Hart did well to save.

Man city got very good holding midfielder like fernandinho, fernando who were very good at intercept passes, psg must play anti counter attack passing style (van gaal tacttic) to counter man city, while psg midfielder are all injured so they pass side to side, all defend when opposition get the ball. sure its boring but tactical, but still failed because man city defense were very good.

Congrats to Man City for reaching the Champions League semis for the first time. Would rather see a fellow English team do well than a rival team do badly in Europe.

Didnt Man city go to the final or so in the eighties or seventies? Before it was called UCL.

You are thinking of City's first foray into Europe when Malcolm Allison promised they would "terrify"Europe. They got beat first time by Fenerbace I think...

I suffer with Ibra. Such a great player, and so disrespected by english fans. However, although both teams performed on a relatively mediocre level Man City was the better of the teams over two games. The win was fair.

@algerino: he is disrespected because he is himself disrespectful. Such an arrogant prick, calls himself best player in the world. Yeah sure, we saw that. It's easier to tap in versus troyes than 1v1 against hart.
