Liverpool

Liverpool spent over 70 million pounds on Roberto Firmino, Christian Benteke, Nathaniel Clyne, James Milner, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez & Adam Bogdan before this season. The Reds certainly have the budget to buy international class players. They just don't blend into an effective unit, but an excellent coach like Jurgen Klopp can certainly set things right without having to buy his own World XI like Louis Van Gaal & Jose Mourinho did, yet failed miserably to deliver results.

Jurgen Klopp has some really excellent players (including expensive purchases by Brendan Rodgers) in this Liverpool squad. If he is as good a coach as FSG obviously believe he is, Klopp can turn things around without having to splash out on even more international class recruits. This is how much I rate the quality of his existing players at Anfield.

I'll keep repeating myself - Loserpool are just an average team at best (fact).....

good game liverpool, experimenting youth ! great future ahead

Fenway Sports Group has already given the impression that they don’t care about Liverpool's loyal supporters, are greedy, trying to extract personal profits at the club’s expense and will sell their shares when the time is ripe. The truth hurts....................

Alibi for LFC

Very unlucky for Liverpool once again but props to West Ham for making it to the next round. I'm hoping to see Liverpool play much better football next season

If west ham gets qualified in europa league they'll eventually get eliminated in round 16 just like arsenal.

Did people watch the game? Why was Payet voted best, he wasn't playing well. I would have gave it to Ogbonna, Kouyate, or Enner.

as much as i like one of our direct rivals playing like shite, I hope Klopp makes some good signings this summer so he can make a squad of players the HE chooses. And get rid of the deadwood.

Great job West Ham!!
Coutinho deserves a better team to play!

Ha

I cannot understand those Liverpool fans who claim that they were the better team. In fact, West Ham had 2 shots come back off the post, a clear cut penalty denied (something smaller clubs have come to expect when up against the Big 5) & were denied by Mignolet on several occasions. The Hammers should have sewn the game up well before their last gasp winner.

جحفلهم :D

this what they call it JA7FALY

As an Arsenal fan, i take great pleasure in seeing Liverpool being defeated in stoppage time. Gooners will know what i mean.

Glad West Ham United showed Liverpool its place. Klopp is doing typical quick movement and young talent to get goals on the counter or confuse the defense. Same problem until now, there is no team, no structure, only the assumption that we can outscore any team. This coach is good for Barca or Real cause they expect top talent in defense to do the job but dont actually have a structure in defense. Where as West Ham coach who has seen scary international games knows you need structure in defense and keep the game contained until 90min or extra time. And when you get a single chance seize the moment to score. While Liverpool were trying the spectacular, West Ham tried the regular, and at the end regular with good defending won. Good cause tired of teams that rely on talent but not the team.

well done brad smith kept antonio quiet all game..... should be first choice over moreno

Damn Liverpool, you're so sh*t lol

Bilic = Liverpool killler.

lol. If Man City lost, "passion vs money".
If Liverpool lost, "The players were disappointing"
