@ArsenalClub What is surprising but true is, foreign players playing for Chinese teams don't ever need to learn Mandarin. The clubs have interpreters for them. But still some other players fit in well and quickly even with language issues, especially Paulinho. Fairly speaking, J Martinez has played descent football in CSL leagues games, against weak/average teams, but just become invisible when playing Champions leagues games or facing strong teams

I will quote a football journalist's words, "Evergrande playing with J Martinez on the field is like playing with 10 men".

Maybe it's a communication issue. He plays in a team where he can't understand his team mates. He needs time to adapt. Maybe he can learn some Mandarin :)
