Actually that was a very average cross from Rakitic. I have nothing against him or Barcelona but there was nothing exceptional about that cross.

Really, michael? Nothing exceptional? Timing? Precision? Force? There's maybe a 1m wide "window" a strip through which the ball has to go so that neither defender or goalie can intercept. Then, If he hit's it too hard, Munir won't get the ball. If he hits it too soft the defender again will be able to intercept. So, is that a thing that Rakitic can do anyday? Probably! Still, it doesn't make it less exceptional compared to, say, maybe the crosses you would produce :D

Regardless of how Rakitic and Modric are overall. Rakitic was awesome last season and deserved placed in TOTY. But well its a popularity contest like Lahm said. And its a sin to compare brothers ;)

I've seen these two play and they aren't anything special from what i can see but perhaps next season.

Currently, they are playing for Barcelona B. Since Barca B are in Third Division its really complicated to come to first team from 3rd Division. I don't see them making debut for the first team this season. Perhaps, next season in CDR.
