Catalonia

They were autonomous regions that were included multiple times in the kingdom of Spain, a bit like Bretagne in France or Schotland in England. Those two regions have their own language and traditions, but for an expansionist reason were annexed to Spain by Franco, a dictator from the 20th century. That's why today we hear that Catalonia wants to be independant, and a few years ago, when the ETA was active, the same occured in the basque regions. In my opinion, every folk should have the right to decide for themselves, no more frontiers, just communities, helping one and other. PEACE

What the FUCK are you saying?! Stop telling bullshit and lies. Catalonia was never an independent region, always belonged to one of the biggest kingdoms (Aragon) that fought muslims during the Middle Age, like other kingdoms (Castilla, Leon, Navarra). Those catholic kingdoms definitely joined in 1492 under the name of "Spain" thanks to a marriage policy. Today, you find all the old coats of arms in the badge of the spanish flag.
Basque Country was a part of the old Kingdom of Navarra, but their language is a curious case and this region was never conquered since ancient german tribes were established there centuries before Jesus Christ: not by Roman Empire either by muslims.
