Di Maria seems to play his best games without Messi. No idea why.

There are something seriously need to changed in football/soccer. The net goal, penalty spot, and free kicks. The net goal is way too small. It should be 4 to 6 feet wider (16 to 18 feet ) and 2 feet taller( 8 feet 6). and Penalty spot should be 25 yards away with a bigger goal that mean the best keepers will have more chances to saves the spot kicks and only best kicks will most likely to go in. Lets talk about taking chances or scoring goals. Even one of the best strikers wont shoot or take their chances around 18 yards or farther, because they know they wont score because the goal is too small. there will be either a goal or a save on free kicks if the net goal is bigger and 12 to 15 yards between the wall and the spot kicks and that is what we want to see.

NO one want to see the ball go wide, too high, or saves on almost every free kicks. We all want to see scoring. Bigger goal would changed everything. if the goals are bigger defenders will be more aggressive and strikers will take more shots and score more goals. i am one of the biggest soccer fans but its bored me now because of the lack of goals. I hope FIFA read this comment and realized that its can be the biggest change in soccer/football. and i know exactly why Americans don't like soccer because of the lack of goals. To be honest who want to see 0-0 or 1-0 or 1-1 games in 90+ ******* minutes. I guarantee football/soccer will be more exiting and gain more fans if the change is made above. Please if you guys agree share this to make change to make football/ soccer more exiting.

this is why football/soccer is so boring. goalless, 1-0, 1-1, or 2-0 games. this is why no hope for losing teams after 2 or even 1 goal down, especially when weak teams play against strong teams like barca . with these small net goal, miracle will not happen. if they make this change, there are a lot of hope even after teams are down 3-0 miracle will happen. it will be any teams games and most importantly scores or points, long goals, free kicks are most exiting about football/soccer.

@zizu... Ronaldinho and Zidane also had a stack team behind them in the tournaments they won. IN the world cup, he and several players were not in form. Argentina played a defensive/counter attack football and it was to Messi's work, they got to final. Same thing happened during the Copa expect he was in form then. One of the problem with Messi situation in the national team is the way they use him. Argentina lacks a quality playmaker in the midfield hence a lot of time Messi drops back too often. One of the reason the Chilean team lost this game is due to their loss of their head coach. They were not as dynamic as they were in the last year. Otherwise, Argentina did not play a convincing game.

Said it in all international tournaments, Argentina DO NOT NEED MESSI. It just happens that he is the most watched talent, idiot F**FA and bandwagon shoe companies make billions when he is on the field, so he always gets to play for Argentina or ruin their chances. This team you saw is the true Argentina, attack and movement in midfield, constant shots to score. Shuffle around players and then put gangster Pastore, he will linkup with all the players while doing his ball room dancing. This is not Barcelona with top 5 talent around Messi to make his basic passes look magical. Not to forget cause of Messi they took out Tavez a true fighter who will win you games. Gosh they even have Lamela, send Messi home.

NEVER a Ronaldo fan, In the land of Football, Zlatan is king. Rest are talented puppets. hehehehe

@Reus11
Tournament victories with Messi : 0
Admit it he is a Barcalona player thats it, he is not a national hero, not like amazing Ronaldinho for Brazil, or Zidane for France. With so much hype all you see Messi do in international games is broing dribble boring boring. Heck Zlatan makes more of his bare minimum mid-level Sweden team than what Messi makes with a billion dollar Argentina team. European clubs pay 30-90mil for these players, and when you see Messi in the mid-field they look like nothing. Put him on the bench, you see the result, a win against big opponent. Hate it or Love it reality hits the heart hehehehehhe.

I was there, first row, sideline, very good game, Argentina controlled the game, Chile just wasn't there besides Sanchez, Vidal, and Bravo. I don't blame them when the rest of the team doesn't do well.

I hate him because of his SHITTY attitude. You can see how he treat fellow Chilean who don't have their name in Europe compare to one that have name, its totally different. Also, you can see the different attitude when he is in Bayern, What a hypocrites and only select those with name and money to be friend. SHITTY GUY and He should have been red carded on this game.
