there are many nations I think were just average teams 10 years ago that have now risen to be very tough opposition... such as:

- Poland
- Belgium
- Croatia
- France (I don't think they were good after 2006, except for now)
- Wales
- Iceland
- Austria

This will be an interesting Euro's

Croatia has always been a dark horse, but they can't achieve more than a dark horse. The fact that they made it to the 3rd place in 1998 was because of their players were a part of "Yugoslavian Golden Generation". After that, they continue to surprise everyone, but still, can't achieve more than a dark horse.

Lol mate you clearly dont know your football. France won 1998 world cup, 1984 and 2000 Euro. As for Croatia they were what was Yugoslavia and they were very good.

Same here, but he was resting. They didn't need their main offensive line obviously. 5-0, dayum.

@Callum Stay quiet you typical jealous English cunt. When was the last time England "achieved" anything? Poland's team won gold at the Olympics and finished 3rd at the WC by beating Brazil. They had one of the best teams ever under communism. You should stop talking cause you seem like an idiot, and Poland's team has better players than England, sorry buddy. When you produce a Lewandowski, Milik, or Krychowiak then give me a call. Your boy Vardy is a one hit wonder btw, that's what's overrated.

Grosicki is so good. Poland beat the Finns 5-0 without the need for Lewy, Krychowiak, Kuba, Piszczek or any of those players. This team is of the highest quality. Deep bench, super talented youth. Go Poland!

Stop overrating Poland, they're going to flop at the Euros like they always do. Overrated team that has never achieved anything good. I hope England meets them if Poland somehow gets past the group stage.

This is the first time Poland has actually had a decent team, and decent coach. Will progress from the group 100%

We never achieved anything? We have been third twice in World Cup - 1974 and 1982. Not to menton our Olympic Games medals ... Stop trolling around. If you have nothing constructive to say, shut your stinking mouth!

Salamon isn't a left-back, he's a centre-back or defensive midfielder (during previous seasons of his career).
