So Napoli raped everyone in their group, decide Europa League isn't important anymore. Fiorentina handed a tough draw, Spurs earned the result rightly so. And Lazio the worst of the three go through to carry serie A's flag.
Meanwhile Spurs, United, Liverpool are through. Roma are dead in the water in champions league, Juve with a slight pulse. So much for this being the season that serie A caught England's coefficient.

Lets all just remember that one United fan doesn't represent all of them. I personally think Tottenham are a great team, especially right now.

We'll see. Dortmund is going to be extremely tough. If we get through them, confidence will continue to soar!

Why was Demon Kane not in the starting 11?
Spurs would have won by at least 6 goals !

When Sir Alex said Mauricio Pochettino is currently the best coach in EPL. You gotta listen bruh!

Give credit where credit is due. Spurs haven't spent crazy sums of money like Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal even though Pochettino can do so, yet Spurs are higher up the BPL table than those filthy rich clubs.

they've spent 300m in the last decade maybe even more recently their buys just usually flop eriksen and lamela being the survivors of the bale money

"they've spent 300m in the last decade maybe even more recently their buys just usually flop eriksen and lamela being the survivors of the bale money" L0L L0L we bought bale for 7 million and sold him for 100 million. we bought Modric for 16 million and sold him for 35 million. Kane is now worth 60m+. Dele Alli is 35m +. Son and Lamela are both worth over 30 million. No one on this website has a clue about football. I dont know why i even bother commenting most of the time.

@Gareth_Bale.. lemme get some of your facts straight.. Dele Alli is worth 12 mill (mkt value) right now not 35+ (no idea where you got this number from).. Harry Kane is worth 30 mill (mkt value) not 60+ mill. Gareth Bale and Luka Modric have been by far your most profitable players (i agree) but dont be coming here dissin other clubs about your ROI from 2 players because as far as i can tell.. united, arsenal and liverpool has done it with multiple players. theres no denying spurs has shocked some big hitters this season and i respect them but dont become like the arsenal fans who are soo full of themselves that every other fan would rather watch leicester win the league than have wenger lift the title after quite the wait.

you arent being specific. who has liverpool sold? who has united sold? who has chelsea and arsneal sold for as much profit as Tottenham Hotspur? no one else has. And we dont spend nearly as much as them. The difference is where we get our money from.

Spurs have the lowest net spend in the whole PL. Anyone who thinks we're a money team has zero idea what they are talking about.

Sorry guys, it hurts but it is the truth. But OK, let see what will you accomplish this year? You will win nothing as usual unless you are counting that being above Arsenal in the PL is a trophy !!!!!!!

genuinely makes me crack a smile when I see that the only way small club fans can support their team is in comparison to another.

Spurs have the biggest win today against a team which will easily beat MU and Liverpool. Fiorentina 3rd in serie A. They didnt play badly, they had 8 shots and have better possession. It is just if tottenham play lloris & alderweireld they will be very solid on the back.

I'm glad (relieved) the Italians won't overtake England in the coefficient. Personally I've never liked Italian teams, except the Milan team when Ancelotti was still a player and also the team he managed during 2001-09. I admire those teams a lot. One of the first memories I remember of watching an Italian team was Juve vs Man Utd in 1998-99 season. They were a bunch of cheats. Diving at any given opportunity.

"When an Italian tells me it's pasta on the plate I check under the sauce to make sure. They are the inventors of the smokescreen."

Overall it's a disappointment for the Italian teams, but it seems they have to be evaluated on individual terms. Juve is really kicking it but had a shitty draw. Roma are getting back to their previous strength but had a shitty draw. Napoli and Fiorentina are in a recent crisis, their EPL performance is aligned with their Serie A run.

Raping the group (which is usually filled with small teams) means nothing if you don't do the job in the knock-out phases. Tottenham got maximum points from their group last season, and then fell to Fiorentina straight-away, because we were still a work in progress under a new manager. This year? We set the record straight. It's only a shame Cuadrado wasn't still playing there so we could see his face after his comments last year.
