I think man utd are very slow in build up, and due to that the any opposition can just sit back defend mainly because they clearly know what mant utd are goin to do. I think what man utd need is the creativity and the speed in build up that becomes unpredictable for the oppsition, i bilieve it will not be boring if their build up play is more faster..

Is there absolutely any chance of him re-adopting a 4-4-2 playing style? I mean come on, we pretty much only have 2 strikers at this point anyway, please please please just play em together. Rooney and Martial seem to be the only tits in the squad that can net the ball. Hell they can even implement this bollocks "pass sideways" fee-loss-oh-fee between each other! At least they'd be getting some foooookin service. ARGhsdfsudghsuesdfff. Blooooooooody hellllllllll. sdgsg.

After spending over 300 million pounds on new players, Man United shouldn't be labouring over a narrow win from a penalty-kick against lower league opponents such as Sheffield United. It was embarrassing & sleep inducing to watch Louis van Gaal adopt safety first tactics against such lowly opposition & needing the 'goodwill' of the referee.

True, but you're forgetting Everton only beat Dagenham & Redbridge 2-0 yesterday with a penalty involved. Dag & Red are in 22nd position in League 2. Evertons spending power in comparison to them is also astronomical.

Mata needs to be thrown out of the side, hez supposed to play provider for Wayne n all he does it provides time for the opposition to get back into their defensive positions. He wastes too much time on the ball.. fellani and darmian are a disgrace.. an the new left back jackson or jackass wateva not only looks like a retard, but even plays like a retard, must definitely be a retard!! Deepay is what i call wothless piece of shit!! LVG is an idiot of the worst kind! The biggest problem of them all is the utd team management, their recruitment of any players is by far the worst in the history of the game!! All this needs to change! I sincerely hope mourinho manages utd

Jose Mourinho? What good can this guy do for Manchester Utd? Win us a premier league once for the next 3 years and screw our youth policy and the entire background running of the club over? I think not.
Now I'm not saying I support Van Gaal's way of approach. I'm just saying that Van Gaal deserves time. He is showing signs of adapting to the attacking football style of manchester united. And give the guy a break if you're judging him based on this game. What can you do against a team with 10 men behind the ball?

Now we must realise that Man Utd is currently not even in the league of Barca, RM, Bayern, PSG, etc. Those teams could work something out with some discomfort. But point to note, they are the cream of the crop. Why does everyone expect Van Gaal to get Manchester United in that category after less than 2 years?
IMO they weren't even that good during Sir Alex's final year. Sure the game with Real Madrid was highly entertaining. But I'm sure facing the other giants i have my doubts over their ability to progress

Manchester United is so fucking pitiful. Out of the CL, barely won against a league one team, a manager that doesn't know what the fuck he's doing, and out of the top 4.

You kind of tied Exeter on Friday, who are in league two, and your team is in 8th, so I wouldn't be talking.

I do admit that Manu hasn't played the most attractive attacking football in a while but our defence is quite solid. Look at the silver linings for now and let us hope to see our attacking get better. I think we just need to use our players much better. e.g Martial should be our main striker and Depay should be on the wings. I have to say that Sheffield literally came to pack the bus today, not much the players could do
