Luis Enrique won nothing at both Celta Vigo & AS Roma because he had no money to spend on strengthening his squad. With the enormous financial resources available at Barcelona, he couldn't possibly fail.

He failed at Roma but did very good job at Celta. Celta finished 8th last season despite being newly promoted to la liga. Most of the signings Enrique made during his time at Celta are still there and flourishing.

I am a barca fan, but I don't think Suarez deserves to be in top 3 Ballon D'or shortlist, here is why. He is an exceptional finisher, don't get me wrong, he is excellent at that. But, he is often too passive, cannot keep the ball for too long, cannot dribble the ball outside of the box without falling, his passing skills most of the time is poor. I have watched every barca game since his arrival, and I love him, but he lacks skill level in certain areas where messi and ney are just out of this world. That said, the past 2 games Messi has missed almost like tap in goals, even in this game, he had a hattrick of clear goal scoring chances, old Messi would of gotten 4 goals. Hence, Neymar has been most consistent and deserves the golden ball this time around!!

i couldn't agree more. My father says his style very similar to Gerd Muller. A killer finisher who can score anywhere and anytime. But he isn't as technically gifted as the two. Suarez completes this combination of two insane play-makers (ney,leo) and puts the balls into the net.

Abg id, i do remember too. But it's just because here he doesn't really need to dribble defenders (though he can dribble very well), cause he is being assisted and others create chances.
Again i say, i strongly disagree with people who say suarez can't dribble.

Bayern were holding out bravely until the 73rd minute. Then, what happened…?
Messi, single-handedly - in what was arguably the most important game of the whole season (the final against Juventus was nowhere as close) - took the game in his own hands and won it for Barca…
As well as Neymar has played this year, he still hasn't been as pivotal in important, trophy-winning matches as Messi has...

@watford: Golden Ball (ie Ballon D'or) is for the whole calendar year, not 3 months back. Neymar has been good lately, but need me to refresh your memory about Bayern game? The Man City game? The Copa del Rey final? Messi wins this time hand down.
@Abg Id: English games give you lots of space, and running to space behind the defend is Suarez killer weapon, thats why he excel. That wasn't so much of dribbling as you think. You probably think Cristiano is a great dribbler too right? He used his speed to get past defenders back in England. That wasn't much of a great dribbler. Still great footballer though.

@conchaivn I know right? People have such short memories. Messi has had an amazing season, beating almost every record, top scorer AND top assister for Barca in La Liga and CL. But hey, he got injured and hasn't played well since he came back, and Neymar is in form in the meantime so let's all vote for Neymar, right?

Its easier to dribble in BPL and it is a fact, in Spain you need to be faster and have less muscle because defenders are very technical too, in England defenders are very strong and sometimes their height and weight makes them less fast.
