Juventus played very good in this match. There were opportunities in the second half that we should have converted (one chip for Morata that Sturaro should have scored and the one-on-one with Morata). We also played very well defensively. Man City had so many corners and we cleared/covered all of them.

Personally the two standout players were Alex Sandro, who really should start ahead of Evra considering his last 2 appearances. A lot of the attack starts from his side and he pushes up very well with the rest of the team. The second standout player for me was Pogba. He bosses the midfield and connects the attack and defense together. Glad to see we are picking up form as well!!!!! FORZA JUVE!!!!

Crazy how Gianluigi Buffon is 37 years old but his agility and reflexes are still phenomenal. his consistency has remained constant throughout his career, undeniably one of the best gk of all-time.

I think it would have been curious to see Englishmen Sterling and Delph starting in place of De Bruyne and Yaya Toure. And some smart substitution later on depending on the performance; Pelligrini should know the strengths of each of his players a bit more keenly for certain matches of certain opponents.

Morata had some very good chances which he should have scored. Buffon is absolute class top saves at 37 years old. pogba and alx sandro also played very well i hope alex gets more playing time. Man city should have at least scored one with KDB feeding the crosses in, sterlings miss though, he should have done better waste of money city only baught him cos hes engish

Cant stand these biased comments from all the juve sheeps! Anyone who actually watched the match would realize boths sides made it exciting, de bruyne and pogba setting plays up for both sides, man citys main downfall was otamendi and desmichellis playing like absolute shit (especially otamendi...), hart played relatively good but city some games for some reason of the unknown find it extremely difficult to hit the back of the net! Ill admit not citys best game but to say that they are complete shit and juve is worlds ahead is ignorance at its finest, let me know when juventus pick up a striker of agueros caliber

let me know when aguero scores against juve

I think even you as a man city fan can't deny that Aguero came to City for the money. Not because he thought he was joining some prestigious club. city literally has no history or name, at least didn't have any when he joined. it was club that had toiled for most part of it's history in the lower divisions and second half of the EPL table...

so picking up a guy who joined to make big bucks is no real feat actually.

juve28 10 years ago
@Steaksandwich i remember a game where kolarov kompany and silva played, and what happend in that game? oh right, you still lost 2-1 at home
0
Dwipayana 10 years ago
@Flassher1911 of course..and Morata himself should at least 2 goals.
5 shots on target for Juve, 2 for City.
if all of that shots went in..then the score would be 5-2....ok 5-3, forget to count Sterling's horrendous miss *LOL*

yup, they were praying to heavens when they heard that a former lazio player by the name of Kolarov was NOT gonna play. Such a scary sight. Kolarov in, and it meant Juve would have lost. thank heavens. or the soft-bones Kompany. In Serie A they eat up defenders like Kompany and Kolarov for lunch. and Silva played in the first game, conjured up jackshit!...Stop pinning your hopes in ifs and what-haves and should-haves.

Hahaha! Funny comment. I personally think De Bruyne shouldn't have started in this game. Maybe sub-in at minute 70. But who knows what goes in Pelligrini's mind at times..

sterling is a shit, how bout navas and yaya, OMG!!! aguero is overrated, he sucks in CL, hart is a world class goalkeepr with no doubt, pellegrini should be sacked and replace him by ancelotti who still available but no for a long time

Man city need David silva badly zabaleta is 100% better than sagna and sagna contribution to attack is zero and I doubt if he can dribble an opponents In fact sagna sterling and Fernando are the worst players in man city.

What is english about City? Of the starting line up only Joe Hart is english, as opposed to six italians in Juve. Disgraceful plastic club!
