LvG, tonight you failed every United fan who believed in you. This was your team. This was your competition. It should've never came to this final game to determine our fate in this group. Wolfsburg, congratulations! Can't wait to see more of your amazing ATTACKING football in this competition.

Seriously, watching both PSV and MU's game and I couldn't even be happy for more than 2 minutes... Congratz to both PSV and Wolfsburg, they deserved it. Especially PSV. Good point is at least this is an exciting match for us fans after months!!!. Our defend is so shitty when we attack... may be we were never that solid anyway. :(. Sad sad day.

By his own admission, Louis van Gaal gets paid an obscene wage for just delegating his duties to his assistants. He has spent 300 million pounds since taking over at Man U, but all we hear are excuses week in, week out. He moans abt other smaller clubs having more money to spend these days, but conveniently omits to mention that he has spent far more to achieve only marginally better results. I can only laugh when LVG complains abt injuries when he has such a large squad.

Louis Van Gaal is an utter failure as coach at Man U. After spending 1/3 of a billion pounds, any Red Devils fan would expect their team to not only conquer all before them, but to do it in style. It has been said that no club can win major honours without spending like there is no tomorrow; just look at how 3rd rate clubs like Chelsea & Man City were transformed. However, LVG has failed even after splashing 300 million pounds.

honestly i still don't know where 300 million went. Probably on LVG's wine collection.
We spend and got the best top 5 signing in Petr Cech. That's the difference between glory hunting and simple football

It must be beyond doubt a very antagonizing series of events for the MAN-U fans,I've watched the match, i felt they played really well, it was less boring in fact was an interesting match. As far as UCL is concerned none of the English teams are up to it, It would be a Barca,Madrid or Bayern, still you never know though, considering United are playing really bad , they are just 3 points behind the top, LVG fixed the problem of a porous defense, though there is very less creativity, the game is compact, I really think LVG should be given more time, he'll come around.

Simply not good enough for a club of Manchester United's standing. That match that doomed us was the one at home to PSV. Win that and we would still be in the Champions League today. I'm starting to lose faith in LVG's philosophy now. Wouldn't mind a change in the summer.

Man City will be out in the first round of the Europa Cup too. Look at the teams in there now. Valencia, Porto, Bayer Levekusen, Sevilla to name but a few. I'd be sweating right now...lol

Martial : £35.00m,
Schneiderlin : £24.50m,
Memphis : £19.25m,
Darmian : £12.60m,
Schweinsteiger : £6.30m,
Results : out of the CL group stage, out of the league cup against middlesbrough, and a very poor boring football (probably the worst time to watch right now) !
well done, we are now the CRAP version of Manchester City ..
Moyes destroyed United and LVG just piled on the agony ..

Moyes did not do anything. He came at the wrong time without a major signing (Only player who came was Fellaini if I'm not mistaken). I believe that with a little support and money to spend in the mercado, he could've succeeded.

Moyes took a title winning squad and turned it into a mid-table team and we were easily beaten by some teams who never thought they would do it .. that's what he did :)
Well, the only thing I hope for now is to part company with LVG at the end of the season and appoint another manager with more "attacking" intent and more intense playing style.

If you lost your faith, you can support Arsenal then.
It's just a bad day, trust on MU
0
LolWUT 10 years ago
You keep thinking that Moyes did this to you, but the truth is, Ferguson knew when to leave Man U because it was a team in transition. All the major players (Vidic, Ferdinand etc.) were getting old

@FinalDay : YOU think that I gave up supporting United after this defeat ? what makes you think that way ??! Non need to tell me that it's just a bad day simply because I supported United in their darkest days !! I am only complaining about the way they are playing and the manager's tactics !

This sucks. But it's just an indication of where we are right now. LVG is ok even though he makes the worst changes ALWAYS. Even SAF crashed out of the group stage in 05-06 and 11-12. That sucked then too. Some positives though, Martial scored, Mata no. 10 assist, De Gea. The game really shows we lack quality leadership and EXPERIENCE (which Wazza and Carrick bring for now). We need a little more quality up front. We have some good young players. It's a work in progress. Considering how much we sucked last season, I didn't expect us to get this far in the Champions league.
