Your logic isn't bad, but you are extrapolating. When one Russian team beats one Spanish team, it could just be chance. When all BPL teams are out of Europe before the quarterfinals (last year), it might be more than just chance. Also, when 3/4 BPL teams lose in the same week, and the only one that wins was playing against Macabi tel aviv, it once again argues against chance. So yeah, OVERALL that is a strong indication that BPL is significantly overrated.

First of all Valencia was 4th place in La league last year. and Zenit ain't a small team look at its squad and they are Russian champion... again they won the UEFA league cup and the same year they have beaten the MU in super cup as well... this is just a one game out 6. Let see how many Spanish Teams and how many EPL and Russian teams will be qualified eventually...

You guys deserved it, i watched some parts of the game. Whole Sevilla 2 confrontations in EL last year, Zenith is very underrated at least for those who does not watch games outside of the league they follow.
