I would rather watch Watford vs Bournemouth for 90 minutes than watching a game like Valencia vs Córdoba for 90 minutes.

FC FC 11 years ago

Yes Valencia is a much better team then Watford and Bournemouth. What @Classic was saying is that a game between them would much more exciting too watch which is absolutely true.

Classic 11 years ago

@Fc FC yes that's what I mean. These retarded idiots above don't seem to understand English a well because watching any game in la liga ( apart from el Classico or real and barca vs athletico ) the rest of the games are dead boring. Barely anyone knows the players or te stadium they're playing at. Such a crap league.

How can Porto produce outstanding talent year after year? Is there a talent factory there in Porto?

yeah i wonder who is gonna be bought at the end of this year. casillas? Aboubakar? brahimi?

Giorgos 11 years ago

It's called academies. It's where real players are being made and then sold to monstrocity teams like Chelsea for millions. Only for the next year to come and show to everyone that they have dozen of them more an watch the real suckers of Premier League paying money for nothing. Best leagues in the world are Spanish and then Portuguese. No matter how many player they sell, still they remain top class.

Portugal don't have strict work permit laws like England the can buy uncapped promising youngsters from anywhere (south america mainly) that's why.

Alex 11 years ago

Excellent scouting in south America, good relationships with top agents and a decent youth training academy. The business model was and is always to buy cheap promising youngsters mainly in South America and sell them expensively to rich European clubs in the likes of Chelsea.

Porto away was always going to be a tough, tough game. Can't begrudge a loss here

Porto outside is not the same. Since 5 seasons back with Villas-boas, we don't have a coach who knows how to work players mentally.
