Rooney doesn't score all this season and comes with a hattrick, this is the beauty of football! Just be patient and keep working hard and you will get what you deserve, same goes with Chicharito. Rooney was in your shoes, you can do it too brilliant Mexican striker!

I guess, Brugge played attacking football because they wanted to win. I judged it because of the fact that Manchester United won if they played against a team with attacking mentality just like the last games of previous season. Interestingly, the other fact matches, that is, while Manchester United played very hardly against them at Old Trafford, that was because they played defensively. It is supported by the fact that Manchester United were up against Newcastle last week because Newcastle played very defensively. Unfortunately, Brugge was not as discipline as Newcastle was. Well, I can maybe be wrong, because I didn't watch the whole matches against Brugge.

It'll be interesting to see how far this Man Utd squad goes in the UCL this year, my guess is they'll get stronger and stronger as the year progresses.

very good display.. we souldn't look for too much credit.. this is a young Club Brugge side with a lot of injuries.. however job's done.. let's just hope this Hat trick does Rooney a world of good confidence wise.. we need him to step up and become the striker we long for in the PL and in the CL.. :) A new Striker just in case would be a sound piece of investment though

Poor Chicarito. Did Rooney offer the PK opportunity to him? If so, a very classy if ultimately unsuccessful gesture.

These were cheap goal to concede. Brugge's defending was comical. Rooney won't score such easy goals in EPL. Anyway I'm glad for Rooney if only it means that van Gaal won't buy a new striker.

Why would you be sorry for hm? I am pretty sure he earns over 100k a week to train every week and when he plays he can't score. Maybe he should train harder and try harder in matches.
