Too bad we have to watch these 2 teams with no world class talent rather than seeing Italy, Netherlands, or Germany. If world cup finals is done in home and away system, luck may play less role in winning a game these type of teams will have a smaller chance being in the knock out phase.

I dont understand the hate for Sweden, they are the definition of a real heart on the sleeve football TEAM. They defend as a unit, attack as a unit and don't play lame football like 11 behind the ball or passing without purpose. Sweden fully deserve their spot in the quarters.

Sweden doesn't park the bus, they play simple and nice football. Imo, they are really refreshing appearance at this WC. Eliminating Italy, winning a very strong group and demonstrating a very stabile and strong gameplay. WP Sweden.

Well I never expected us to go this far but man I'm happy for the boys. I was about 1 month old when we got bronze in 1994 and this is the furthest Sweden has ever gotten in the WC since then. Not sure we can beat England or Colombia but... hey we've already gotten past numerous opponents we weren't favoured against on the way here so who knows

Sweden are amazing going forward but their finishing is absolutely shocking. Overall they deserve the win. Switzerland even though they were trying the whole match, they had very few clear cut chances. Those who voted Sweden lucky clearly didn't watch the match.
