But why? Every World Cup, some 'big' team thrashes some little team in the Group Stage, and no-one says: "But it's only X...". Don't get me wrong, of course it's true that Panama are not the sternest test, but why is the first thing people say: "Oh, it's Panama," instead of: "good job England"?

Because people hate England. We are known for failing, no doubt, we all know this haha. Every World cup, the hype, our own media hating our own team and players and more. So for the first time we play with a more inexperienced young team with no hype, and we play better. We love this!

However, Belgium struggled vs Panama till the second half and only beat them 3-0, Argentina have flopped, Germany only just got through that Sweden win last min, Brazil struggled heavily till injury time with 2 goals, Portugal just got past Morocco 1-0, Spain 1-0 vs Iran... All the big teams have struggled vs similar opposition. There have been many 1-0 games, no team is solid this WC. So when we beat a team 6-1... It's a big deal, because that performance had 0 luck.

Check out other goals difference in other groups. There aren't two team with +5 goals difference or up. And same with teams with -4 or less.

Doesnt matter what other groups have. Tunisia and panama has -4 and -8 because they are sucking england and belgium +6 goals. So if two team score alot then the other teams must conceed alot
